SERVICES
Our CO2 laser system is able to engrave on material up to 36"x48" with thicknesses to 12". From cutting and engraving wood, leather, acrylic, paper and fabric to etching glass and stone, the possibilities are virtually endless. With a resolution of up to 1440 dpi, even photos can be etched into surfaces with extreme detail. Paint and other coatings can be engraved off almost any material to reveal any design on the subsurface. On most bare metal surfaces a permanent black or silver mark (such as seen on bare stainless drinkware) can be produced by combining the heat of the laser beam with a chemical solution and the surface of the metal. Actual removal of metal (engraving below the surface) isn't possible with CO2 laser engravers. A fiber laser engraver, which uses a different wavelength of light, can remove material from metal but doesn't have the ability to engrave and cut other organic materials that a CO2 laser engraver can. Because of the higher versatility of the CO2 laser, we have decided to focus our operations on the capabilities of that technology at this time. Give us a call to discuss how we can help you complete any project you have mind.
The Technology

Wood
Wood cutting and engraving are two of the most popular applications for the laser because they can encompass aspects of so many different projects. From cabinetry to photo frames to knife handles, our system can be used in almost every woodworking category. Whether your project is composed of veneers, inlays, mdf, plywood, walnut, alder, or cherry, we can engrave even the most amazingly intricate images that will take your personal items or professional projects to the next level.

Leather
Leather is an exceptionally popular material to laser engrave and cut for a variety of reasons. The process of engraving or etching leather results in a debossed effect and, depending on the surface of the leather, produces a noticeable and clean contrast. Light-colored leathers produce significant color contrast, whereas engraving darker leathers results in a more subtle contrast. Almost any leather product can be personalized with beautiful results.
If you're a leatherworker we can cut down on the mundane aspects of crafting your products by precisely cutting all the components of your project, complete with any necessary stitch holes and any desired personalizations (including maker's marks)...leaving you with more time for the creative processes of your craft. Give us a call and we'll discuss how we can save you time and money.

Metal Marking
Whether you need barcodes applied to an endless stream of industrial parts or I.D. tags, or you need to personalize a single stainless tumbler or set of metal ice cubes, we can get the job done.

Glass engraving and etching with a CO2 laser produces a beautiful frosted effect, allowing us to etch custom logos and designs on nearly any glass product.
Glass Etching

Acrylic has been used extensively in signage for decades and now has taken a new prominence in our every day lives as it is used for medical shields in most public areas. We can cut acrylic sheets up to 3/4" thick in sizes as large as 35"x47" and then etch them with company logos or messages. In most cases, we can laser your current barriers as long as they can be disassembled for transport and can fit in our laser. The etching of these barriers not only increases branding and conveys relevant messages, but it will likely make your customers feel more at ease, welcome, and less like the only reason for the barrier is to keep you separated from them.
